The Fight Was Never About You
Some conflicts were never about you.
James 4:1 says fights come from battles within a person, not always from something that actually happened between people.
Sometimes friends or family react to:
old wounds
old rejection
old comparison
old insecurity
…not your post, your success, your happiness, or your life.
Social media just shines a light on what was already there. A picture becomes a story. A story becomes an offense. An offense becomes anger. And none of it started with you.
Unhealed emotions from childhood don’t disappear with age. They just find new situations to attach themselves to.
Not every reaction deserves your defense.
Not every accusation deserves your explanation.
Sometimes you are not the problem.
You are just the mirror.
