What is PSYCH-K® ?
Your personality is formed on the basis of your beliefs. They define whether you feel worthy or unworthy, powerful or powerless, competent or incompetent, trusting or suspicious, a feeling of belonging or the outcast, self-sufficient or dependent, flexible or judgmental, treated respectfully or victimized, loved or disliked.
Your beliefs have far-reaching positive and negative effects in your life. Moods, relationships, job performance, self-esteem, physical health, and even religious or spiritual outlooks are all influenced by your beliefs.
It is critical that we understand how to transform limiting beliefs to beliefs that empower us. It’s all about identifying and transforming beliefs in PSYCH-K®.
What is the mechanism behind it?
To understand how it works, you must first understand how the brain operates.
The left brain deals with logic/reason, thinks in words, deals in parts/specifics, analyzes, sequential thinking, identity, and control.
The right brain deals with emotions, intuition, creativity, thinks in pictures, deals with wholes, relationships, is spontaneous and free, puts situations together.
Although we are born with the ability to use both sides of our brain (cerebral cortex), life events frequently cause one side to dominate over the other when responding to specific situations. The more emotionally charged the circumstance (trauma), the more likely it will be stored for future reference, and the more probable we may over-identify with only one hemisphere when confronted with comparable life experiences in the future.
Both sides of the brain work together to form wholeness.
All of our life experiences are stored in our subconscious mind, and we do not have awareness of how this is the steering wheel of our life. These stored beliefs create the perceptual filters that we use to respond to life. That is 95% of our decisions are made by our subconscious, which means your life is steered by your subconscious without knowing why you make decisions, you are on “automatic”
For example, when you drive home do you make a conscious decision on how to get there? Do you need instructions on how to get home from work or the store? I would say, No- your subconscious is already programmed on how to get there. So, you are on “Automatic”.
I can’t tell you how many times I have needed to stop somewhere on the way home and found myself at home and I forgot to make the stop for an errand because I was on automatic.
This is a prime example of how your life is being run by your subconscious programming and how it creates your life based on the learned experience of driving home.
We can make those changes in our life that can profoundly change our life through PSYCH-K® by changing your beliefs.
Do you recognize some of these common roadblock questions?
- “No matter what I do or how hard I try, it is never good enough.”
- “The decisions I make usually turn out wrong.”
- “I blame others for my problems (boss, co-workers, spouse, etc).”
- “My opinion doesn’t really matter.”
- “I don’t know why what I am doing doesn’t work out for me.”
If these questions are familiar in any way, then your subconscious beliefs are reflecting in your reality and through PSYCH-K® a new reality can be created and replace those beliefs with new ones.
It is simple and effective. The goal is wholeness and whole brain thinking.
