What is your currency?

What is your currency?

Cur·ren·cy- Defined:

/ˈkərənsē/

noun

  • a system of money in general use in a particular country:”the dollar was a strong currency”Similarmoneylegal tendermedium of exchangecash
  • the fact or quality of being generally accepted or in use:”the term gained currency during the second half of the 20th century
  • ▪the time during which something is in use or operation:”no claim had been made during the currency of the policy”

The first thing anyone thinks about when you ask about currency is legal tender. The “money” used to buy and sell goods.

The word currency is derived from the word current.

Current can refer to energy exchange, the flow of electricity, the flow of a body of water, as well as being up to date in today’s world in areas from fashion to education.

YOU are an energy exchange, a currency.

There is a lot to talk in relation to currency and how we are using our energy and the habits and rituals that we establish to live our life. As Generation X, I have lived in a world where the phrase “ I will sleep when I die” is used often.  I think this is a sad way to live. There are rituals and habits that we learn that are destroying our bodies, and rituals based on a clock where we as a collective believe we have to beat a clock. The bad habits and rituals are causing the health of the collective to fail. You need to know that you can create a life that is balanced, blessed, guided and free from the normal process of depletion.

Let’s get on with it…

Part 1

Energy cannot be destroyed, but it can be recreated. ( The Yin and Yang of life)

Let’s start with talking about where your Qi comes from (your personal Prana or Energy source). Everyday we wake up and when our feet hit the floor we are rushing out the door by taking a quick shower, brushing our teeth and grab-and-go for breakfast (the breaking of your nightly fast) and then driving real fast to get to work or school. The fight or flight response has been engaged as soon as you see daylight. Where did you learn that process? And why do you continue to do it?

Your Qi comes from self-care, it is your lifeforce:

When you rest at night, just like a battery it should be done to reset and revive and flow into the next day.

What are you doing as your nightly pattern or ritual to make sure you mind, body, soul and spirit are prepared to heal and rest?

There is not one passage in the Bible that tells us to eat fast, drive fast, binge drink to recover from the day and smoke weed to sleep at night.  That is a programmed response based on a belief system interjected to keep most people asleep and a slave to a currency system for a club of controllers you do not belong to.

And while you are at it, they want to keep you in the cycle by selling you a cream for your face to make you look like you are not aging, lotion so your body doesn’t look like it isn’t breaking down, a drug to make sure you can still make it into work tomorrow, and a weekend (weak-end) so that you have just enough time to rest and buy all the things that keep the cycle going all the time.

Do you want to know where your time is going? Are you stuck in a currency of life that you need to wake up from? The realization you have the power to create a new reality and balance for the life you deserve starts here.

Now let me be clear, this is not about your job. This is about mindset.  What you do for a living is a way to bring those dollars in, what I am talking about is everything else in your life that you think is related to your career or lack there of.

Self-care isn’t about the creams or elixirs that are going to save you, YOU are the currency that will save you and your family and change the course of reality by controlling Your energy.

Lets dive into this a bit further and start with education:

The children of today are not taught how to balance a checkbook, cook a meal or even be a good person in school anymore. They are set up in the education system like bulldogs set to fight and then it is the survival of the fittest.  To the point children are afraid to go to the bathroom at school.  I know about this from my own children all too well.

The teachers today hardly have enough time to breath before having to break up a fight or worry about a child in their class who has fallen asleep at their desk because their parents are just over broke trying to do the best they can in the same kind of world that their children are being programmed to live in.

Our children are doing all they can to survive, let alone having enough time to really learn.

That is the difference in education from 50 years ago to what is on the plates of educators now, and if you think private schools are any different, they are not.  They don’t have as may problems but the education system is infiltrated with chaos.

This is causing problems in our society in every sector. Our energetic currency is being wasted in a cycle and system of chaos that is not teaching us to learn and move forward, but to stay on the wheel of karma. Living in our lower chakra’s keeps us in a sine wave of activities that put us in that cycle, the never ending karmic wheel of chaos. Energy that is being sucked from our lifeforce that we need to learn to control.

We were not created to be lower dwelling beings, that has not ever been what God has wanted for anyone. Just the opposite actually, that is what demons want from us.

You are probably saying, well what can I do about it? We are all as a society responsible for the bigger picture in some way.  Until we all learn to control who harbors our energy, we keeping paying it into a system that continues to control us as a collective.

You have control of what is in your sphere of influence and what you allow in your life. It comes down to The Law of Allowing.  The Law of Allowing states that we have the ability to recognize that God is within us. And when we recognize this, we recognize that we love who we are and we love other people.  It isn’t about judging but living a Christlike life of love. Once you maintain control and remove the energy vampires, you begin to control your bubble.  And if everyone would do the same and learn how important our currency is, the world would change.

I have said many times to my friends, that the collective has not been taught about rites of passage as you go from different age groups and how to plan for each of them. The traditions and rituals were forgotten and those who were there to keep them going are now gone.

They haven’t been replaced with anything, even birthdays seem so irrelevant in today’s world. Only a few religions even keep birthday rites of passage going in today’s world.

What does this have to do with currency? It energetically affects how you see the world and how your brain is trained to live in it. How do you spend your time and energy on self-care?

About 7 years ago, I worked with a business coach who asked me what I was doing to set my day each day. We can all have goals, but what was I doing on purpose for myself to put me mentally in a place to achieve the goals? Goals are a guide, they are not the end result, but a guide to getting a result on what you would like to achieve.

Where are you spending your energy before entering the day? (Setting time aside for you)

Who is in your life that is sucking your energy dry? (Energy Vampire)

What are you eating?

What are you listening to?

What are you learning? And why are you learning it?

What were your daily habits and who is influencing them? And do the align for your future self?

I had to take my life and break it down piece by piece to put it back together to understand my value. My currency wasn’t/isn’t the dollar but what I was bringing to the world.

And during that time, the revelation in how I spent my currency directly affects EVERYTHING in my life including my health.

That is where I learned that by controlling my energy before stepping foot into the world mattered to me, it mattered to my family, and it mattered to my businesses.

What you don’t recognize most of the time is that the program will dictate your self-worth, and what we have not been taught is that we can say NO and step into a life well lived. But it is a decision, and just like anything in life it is not easy.

I don’t know about you, but the easy things in life are usually the one’s that set me on loop going nowhere.

I look forward to continuing with a series of blog posts about energetic currency, but before finishing out this one today, ask yourself these questions. Write down the answers in a journal and go on a journey of self-discovery about where you want to be a month from now, a year from now or accomplish in this lifetime.

What is your currency today? Where is your energy flowing?

Take a week and look at a few things:

  • Start a Journaling process about your self-care and self-worth. You are not being selfish, but on a journey of connecting to who you are and where you want to be in this life.
  • Pay attention to your energy vampires, write them down so you recognize what needs to move and change.
  • Pay attention to what you digest energetically, physically and what is driving you right now. Ask yourself if that is serving you?

For more information on working with me for a short-time, I have a limited schedule, but reach out to me via email and let’s talk for 15 minutes. My first consultation with you is free. We can start the discovery process and see if this is a good fit.

Look for my next post soon, I think Energetic Currency is an important topic these days on learning where to go and how to make a difference in small steps.

Part 2 coming soon….
